It just hit me! I don’t know how I have gone all my life not knowing this yet it’s in plain sight.

Pessimists (a person who tends to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen) are good for you, they are good to have around you because they are your blind spots. But they must never linger around a situation for long especially after the issue has been resolved or a solution has been crafted. This is because you might end up focusing your attention on the blind spot rather that the road ahead, you will end up in a tragedy.

Let me explain this a bit further, when you are about to make a significant move, it’s impossible to have a 360-degree view of what the opportunity comes with. The unseen and unknown areas are called blind spots. Pessimist are generally negative people whose view of life is always to look at the negative then work from there. They are good to have a round in necessary dosages, because they have the nose to pick up bad odours. The trick is before switching lanes check your blind spots they will give you an indication on when it’s the right time to move or not, but do not keep your eyes on them, because you still need to focus on the road ahead. If you look a split second longer you will surely loose your way.

My point is, every character has a positive contribution in your life you just need to learn to discern the right time to have them around and when not to.
